One of the bigger events of winter is happening next week in Frankenmuth and it's Zehnder's Snowfest with plenty of food, events, and ice carving. Snowfest is a huge multi-day event in Frankenmuth with tons of events, and one of the biggest ones being ice carving. Zehnder's Snowfest is now in its 29th year and Snowfest kicks off on Wednesday January 22nd and running through the 27th all over Frankenmuth.

Ice carving and snow sculpting are the biggest events that happens during this, as people from all over the state and country come in to Frankemuth to make their best ice/snow sculpture. Ice Carving contests start on Wednesday and they run each day through out the Snowfest with contests for adults and younger people as well.

Along with ice carving and sculpting there will be plenty of other things for people to check out. Every day there is something for kids with kids playing areas, as well as kids entertainment and pony rides happening on Saturday. There will also be a warming tent everyday for you to watch all of the ice carving, that will be open everyday from 10am - 5pm and it will have food, drinks, and live music.
