Christmas time is here...Well, nearly here anyway. However, while the calendar may not read December 25th, it's always Christmas time at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth.

If you are in the festive spirit and are looking for some fun holiday things to do with the family, making the trip to Frankenmuth should definitely be on your list.

Bronner's Christmas Wonderland is Huge

Bronner's is just one of the necessary stops you need to make when you're in Frankenmuth. Bronner's is "the World's Largest Christmas store", spanning 27 acres. And they really earn that title. Every nook and cranny is filled with Christmas and holiday decor, from top to bottom. And here's another thing; almost every.single.piece. of holiday decor that you see can be purchased. No kidding.

So that ornament hanging from the ceiling that's as big as you are...yup, you can buy that. How about that 10-foot nutcracker? Yeah, he's for sale too. Just depends on how much you want to spend. But don't worry, there's something for every budget.

What kinds of ornaments does Bronner's have?

Bronner's has a slew of ornaments, tree-toppers, wreaths, miniature villages, lights, Nativity scenes, garland, tree skirts, and the list goes on and on. In fact, they have so much going on that upon entry, they hand you a map that shows you where all the different sections are located.

I had the pleasure of making the trip to Frankenmuth and stopping by Bronner's this weekend, and I'm so glad I did. However, here are some things to keep in mind when you go;

  • It is BUSY. This is Bronner's busiest time of year, rightly so. So just be prepared for a large number of people.
  • You may have to wait outside before entering. Because this time of year is so busy, and because of COVID, Bronner's is limiting the number of people inside at any given time. You may have to wait in line outside as people leave, so make sure to dress accordingly.
  • Like many places right now, Bronner's is a bit short-staffed, so please be kind and have patience when the workers are assisting you.
  • Take your time. Visiting Bronner's isn't going to be an "in-and-out" kind of visit. Besides waiting to get in, the store is absolutely huge. So, if you want to see everything and get the most of your visit, plan on setting aside a good chunk of time to walk around.

Bronner's isn't the only thing to see in Frankenmuth.

Zehnder's of Frankenmuth

Zehnder's of Frankenmuth is a restaurant and is another must-stop destination while you're in Frankenmuth. It's famous for its chicken dinner, and for good reason; it's delicious. However, if you want to eat there, you'll need to plan ahead. They do accept reservations, and they fill up very, very quickly. So if you happen to know when you're going, I'd recommend calling well ahead to reserve your spot.

No matter what you plan on enjoying while in Frankenmuth, there is plenty going on. Check out the gallery below to see some of the amazing Christmas decorations from Bronner's, as well as some of the fun activities you can enjoy while in Frankenmuth.
