The One Chip Challenge Is Back & Everywhere
So last time (last weekend as a matter of fact), I thought I had stumbled onto a secret. Because the last time the folks at Paqui did this "One Chip Challenge" it was a limited release kind of a thing. It sold out quickly and became a viral "challenge" sensation in the process.
Last Sunday, I found them at Fresh Thyme in East Lansing. And I wrote about it.
But while grabbing some stuff before the Lion's game on Sunday at Fresh Thyme in East Lansing, I stumbled onto food challenge nirvana or hell depending on your pain threshold.
Thursday, I found them at Speedway.
And they were slightly higher at $6.99 a chip.
Heads up on the mass availability of this new 2020 version of the One Chip Challenge.
Last time they looked like this.
This time they are a blue tortilla chip. And dusted not only with Carolina Reaper peppers but also Sichuan Heat. Truth be told it looks black and brings death in the form of melt your tongue and face off.
A couple of tips as they are now widely available for you (and your family and friends) to try.
They are no joke. This warning is very real.
DO NOT we repeat DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYES. That would be very bad.
And finally, it's funny but it's true.
Bon appetit friends. There are literally hundreds of videos of people who failed at this thing. Take a look before you decide to poop hot fire for the next day.
