Randy Olson, a PHD candidate at MSU has a background in data Analysis and has put together the best routes to cover Pure Michigan by car.  WILX Channel 10 reports that

you can start at any point and as long as you follow the route you will end up back where you started.  It can be tough to pick out the best spots in Michigan because there are so many and we are all so particular about our favorite spots.  Randy has put together a program that is actually only 40 hours on the road, hits 43 sites and is 2,098 miles round trip.  Are you ready to take it on?
