MexiTreats Second Location

If you're a fan of ice cream, fresh smoothies, churros, shakes and more, MexiTreats now has two locations. The original one is located on Cedar Street in Lansing and the new one is right next to Happy's Pizza on Saginaw Street downtown.

If you've never been to MexiTreats and you're trying to branch out from your normal ice cream cone, give the Mangonada a try. According to Lansing City Pulse, it's one of their best selling drinks.

Grab a bite to eat while you cool down at MexiTreats. Not only do they have Mexican sweets but they also have food.

Try out their Elote! Otherwise known as street corn. It's corn on the cob topped with mayo, cheese and spices.

Birria Tacos in Lansing

If you're on a mission to try some of the best tacos in the Lansing area, you need to head to Maria's Cuisine.

If you aren't familiar with birria, it is a Mexican dish that originated in Jalisco. It's a meat stew that is traditionally made with goat meat and cooked in an adobo made of vinegar, dried Chile and other spices.

Maria's Cuisine is located on the corner of Larch Street and East César E. Chávez Avenue in Old Town.
