The Ingham County Animal Control is still open and looking to get animals adopted as well as provide their other services to the community. According to WILX, even though the Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is closed to the public some of their services are still available.

First, with all of the shutdowns happening it can be hard to make sure all of the animals get forever homes as well as keep space open in the shelter so they are still running their emergency foster placement program. Plus, another thing to help with the pet population in the shelter, is that adoption fees have been reduced to just $25 per pet. But just a note that if you are interested you need to make an appointment as the shelter has suspended walk-in adoptions.

In addition, animal control officers are still responding to emergency calls as well as wearing protective equipment to help them and others.

You can see more about their services and also see all of their adoptable animals by clicking here.
