Chipotle Giving Away 250,000 Free Burritos to Healthcare Workers
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear scrubs.
Since the pandemic, healthcare workers have had one of, if not the most, tiresome and demanding job. They've put themselves and families at risk everyday to protect, take care, and save people so Chipotle wants to show them a small token of appreciation with free food of course.
Beginning Thursday, April 29 at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. ET, medical professional can sign up to receive a code for a free burrito to use at checkout, in stores or online. This giveaway applies to medical providers (i.e. doctor, dentist, pharmacist, clinical technician), nurses, and all hospital employees. Check here if you are eligible.
There are 250,000 burritos that will be given away for free while supplies last so get your code early! If approved, you will receive your code within a week in your e-mail which you then have until May 31 to redeem on a free entree. The promotion can not be applied to a delivery through a third-party service.
In addition, anyone who purchases a special e-gift card between now and May 9, Chipotle will match 10% and donate it to the American Nurses Foundation.
In 2020, the Mexican chain donated 200,000 burritos to frontline workers across the country.
