Okay, with Halloween approaching, many of us will be haulin’ out some old horror movies out of our collections to binge-watch.

I can’t even begin to list all the truly scary movies to watch...and they don’t have to be bloody or gory to be scary...sometimes the unseen and unknown can be scarier. I personally prefer the old black and white monster movies – not because they’re scary, but they’re classic, campy, and fun.

For real scares, I prefer many of the titles that were made after the turn of the century. Now, if you want to experience horror movies that were actually shot in Michigan, I have the following suggestions for you:
