Thousands gathered outside the Michigan's State Capitol for the Women's March for equal rights.  The peaceful demonstration was held in opposition to the hate crimes, violence, and discrimination that has resulted following the election.

Attendees stood in solidarity with marchers at the National Women's March on Washington for the protection of American's rights.

Gretchen Whitmer, Gubernatorial candidate and former State Legislator said, "we are marching because so many of us are worried and many of us are scared."  Here's more from WILX-TV 10.
