Another day, another event cancelled for the summer of 2020. This time around it's the Eaton County Fair that was supposed to take place July 13th through July 18th in Charlotte. In a letter posted on the Eaton County Fairgrounds Facebook page, they say that the Eaton County Agricultural Society Board of Directors "made the difficult decision to cancel the midway entertainment, vendor exhibits, concessions and grandstand shows for the 2020 Eaton County Fair."

There is a little bit of good news in all of this as they also said that they are going to go ahead with the youth Non-Livestock, Livestock, Small Animal, and Horse Shows. There's also still going to be a Small and Large Animal Auction. However, no dates and times have been confirmed yet for any of those events.

The Ingham County Fair, Jackson County Fair, Ionia Free Fair and the Shiawassee County Fair have also been cancelled for this summer. There's been no official word yet about the Fowlerville Fair that is supposed to take place July 27th through August 1st.
