Abandoned Michigan Strip Club – With a Secret in the Basement

An abandoned Michigan strip club...with a secret? That’s not much of a surprise, but it is interesting to discover.

This particular abandoned strip club is at an undisclosed location somewhere in our state, and the first place that comes to mind is either Detroit or Flint – the camera guy isn’t saying.

When it was discovered, it was wide open and secluded within bushes and more overgrowth.

Inside it’s all ripped apart, but the main parts are there: the deejay booth, bar, lighted dance floor, and a stage where all the excitement took place. There’s a big hole where the stage seemed to collapse, as if a stripper fell through. Obviously, there was gambling, as decks of cards were found.

But then they went down into the basement... and what they found was a surprise.

No – no dead bodies or stashes of drugs or money, but a secret club. Complete with a swimming pool, showers, and what seems to be a jacuzzi. Rusted and moldy, but a jacuzzi just the same. You can just imagine the kind of parties they had down here...holy cow!

Again, the location of this place is not known...which leads me to believe that these explorers (trespassers) are getting at least a smidgen of responsibility by not disclosing the place to possible looters and vandals. So I give them a thumbs-up for that effort.
