St. Patrick's Day is this Thursday, the website WalletHub.com has crunched some numbers about the holiday compiled by several organizations.  For example, 51 percent of Americans plan to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.  82 percent plan to wear green.

On average, most people will spend an average of $35 on green beer, corned beef and cabbage, along with those glittery green hats.

Here's more:  13 million pints of Guinness will be consumed worldwide on St. Patrick's Day.  $1.2 million, that's the market value for a pot of gold.  70 percent  increase in cabbage shipments as well.
