A new study out of the U.K. pooled data to help show the benefits and risk factors in taking the pain reliever drug.
According to WILX, the study found that a low dose aspirin reduced the risk of heart disease as well as cardiovascular events. Aspirin, however, also showed an increased risk of gastrointestinal and brain bleeding.
This study came from Anglia Ruskin University and was published in the 'British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.'
