Things Michigan Does Better Than Anyone Else

I, for one, love the state of Michigan. And I get sick & tired of hearing other state residents say they hate it here and wanna move. Well, then, MOVE and get it over with.

However, the rest of us who dig the state we live in have our own reasons:

Well, according to a since-deleted article in onlyinyourstate.com, there are eleven things we in Michigan do better than anyone else.

Those eleven were:
BOATING
With the Great Lakes and the endless thousands of inland lakes, it’s a given.
CEREAL 
Kellogg’s and Post out of Battle Creek have never been beaten.
EDUCATION
As mentioned above, the Top Ten universities,
FARMING 
Another given.
FOOTBALL
With our universities, this one was inevitable.
LIGHTHOUSES
More than any other state. Whether still-operating, abandoned, or haunted, our lighthouses are a tourist’s dream.
LOYALTY
True Michiganders have state loyalty as a beloved dog has to its master.
MAGIC
The town of Colon is known and respected by magicians from all over the world and features the graves of many past prestidigitators.
MAKING THINGS
All our major cities are famous for their own creative contributions.
SHORELINE
More than any other state.
SODA POP
Vernors, Towne Club, Faygo, Hi-Klas, and numerous other lesser-known pops have been created and guzzled here.

"REALLY?" you ask.
Yup, really.
Of coirse, I’m not telling you something you don’t already know.
