Lansing-Area Towns As “Christmas Vacation” Characters
It's that time of the year where many of us are non-stop watching our favorite holiday movies!
Some of us are "Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas" people, some of us just watch whatever we can find on our streaming services, and some of us don't change the channel away from the Hallmark Channel.
Whatever or wherever you watch, there are some movies that are undeniable classics and one of those classics that reigns supreme is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
Not only do I have a crush on Chevy Chase as Clark Griswold and am disappointed in how he's aged, but I watch this movie AT LEAST four to five times in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
I feel like all of the characters are just so relatable and it is one of those movies that really exemplifies what many of us feel like we deal with around Christmas time.
That is why we got to thinking and wondered which characters people associated most with their hometowns so we asked all of you on our Facebook page!
Joey and I both agreed that Cousin Eddie was going to be one of the top responses but there were definitely a few other favorites in there as well.
So, without further adieu, here is what you all gave us for "Lansing-Area Towns as Christmas Vacation Characters.
While I understand some of these may seem insulting at first, just make like the Griswolds and try to see the bright sides of it all! Each character in "Christmas Vacation" plays an important part in the story and it truly is a beautiful film to enjoy around the holidays!
So make it your Friday night movie and join me in being "the jolliest bunch of a-holes this side of the nuthouse!"
