Labor Day weekend is always a fun weekend for everyone.  Whether you're planning on grilling hamburgers or hot dogs, or perhaps taking the kids on a hike,  the last official summer fun weekend is finally here and it's time for everyone to make great weekend plans.

If you're ready for a fun festival, take the kids to Adado Riverfront Park for the Michigan Chicken Wing Festival.  It runs all weekend long from noon until 9 p.m.  There will be a mascot contest, wing eating contest, kids zone, entertainment and more.  The cost is only $5.   The Lansing State Journal has more.

Then on Labor Day Monday, it's time to lace up the tennis shoes for the Eaton County Labor Day Bridge Walk from 9 a.m. to noon.  Start at Oak Park and walk across the downtown Grand River bridge to Fitzgerald Park along the Ledges Trail or Jefferson Street.

Remember to take us along all weekend long and enjoy our World Famous Retro weekend featuring the best songs from the 80's and 90's.  Thank you for listening to 99.1 WFMK, and enjoy all retro all weekend long!
