ROADSIDE MICHIGAN: The Kalkaska Shoe Tree

Kalkaska has an awesome shoe tree. So awesome in fact, that it's listed on Google Maps.

In the past, I've listed a nice handful of Michigan Shoe Trees. Some folks believe there's something either evil or witchy about 'em, but 99% of the time, they are simply harmless fun.

Granted, coming across one of these from out of nowhere can be somewhat unsettling and creepy, and there are even urban legends about many of 'em. The one in Kalkaska is one you just might wanna stop and get a selfie with...and to add your own pair of worn-out, smelly ol' shoes to its branches. Take a look at the photos and videos below.
