Whose ready for delicious ribs and some great entertainment to go along with it? So many events were canceled over the past two years because of the coronavirus pandemic.

One of those events was Kalamazoo's Ribfest. This incredible event is coming back this summer after two years of being put on hold. Thousands of Michiganders are ready for all the fun in downtown Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo Ribfest will take place August 5-6 with so much to offer after sitting on the sidelines for too long.

According to mlive.com:

The event will be headlined by '90s acts Sister Hazel and Puddle of Mudd on Saturday, Aug. 6. Friday nights entertainment will include a Kalamazoo stop from the Pop 2000 Tour, hosted by Chris Kirkpatrick of NSYNC and featuring appearances from Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, David Cook, O-Town and LFO.

I love summer festivals. They're so much fun, especially when there's great food and great entertainment for everyone.

And by the way, can I just mention how much I really enjoy fall off the bone tender ribs. I know people who are excellent at barbecuing ribs.

Speaking of that, all the vendors for the Kalamazoo Ribfest are some of the best grillers around. And we're talking about award winning ribs!

Mlive.com adds:

Vendors already signed up include Johnson's BBQ, Desperado's BBQ & Rib Co., Blazin' Bronco BBQ, Howling Coyote BBQ, Bomba's, Big Moe's BBQ, Virgil BBQ, Cowboys BBQ, Maui Wowi Smoothies, Mangia Catering and Ibison Concessions.

This will be the 34th year for the Kalamazoo Ribfest and officials are expecting close to 10,000 people on Aug. 5-6. Come hungry and we'll see you in August.
