This has been  a tough season for the MSU Spartan basketball team.  Several injuries have hindered some of our best basketball players including Dawson and Payne.

Sunday, MSU went scoreless for the final 4:30 of the game, with Gary Harris missing a potential tying jump shot at the buzzer.  It was one of four missed shots to go with three turnovers in the Spartans' final seven possessions, in a game they led most of the way.

Yes, we lost to Ohio by 2 points!

So MSU will be the no. 3 seed in the Big Ten tournament in Idianapolis, starting play around 9p.m. Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse against the winner of Thursday's game between No. 6 seed Iowa and No. 11 seed Northwestern.

I think if the MSU Spartan basketball team re-groups with less fouls and focuses on brilliant plays, we have a good chance in the Big 10 tournament. Go Green!!!!!
