Roller skating is so much fun and so is playing a couple of games of miniature golf. And if you're looking for something a little more challenging, why not participate in a basketball game or two?

There's an organization called "Come Play Detroit," and they're all about playing basketball in the heart of downtown Detroit as well.

According to mlive.com:

“It’s an amazing way to utilize this space and make it accessible to the public with free access to play basketball, putt-putt. There will be music in the parks and performances all summer long,” said Justin Jacobs, founder of Come Play Detroit. “There’s not many cities that have something like this in the heart of Downtown. Thanks to Bedrock and Rocket Mortgage, we are so fortunate to have this.”

It's all about summer time fun and downtown Detroit has plenty of it. Speaking of fun, the outdoor roller skating rink includes skate rentals and costs around $12 per session.

By the way, if you just want to take it easy and just walk around, you can check out plenty of street art in downtown Detroit.
