Abandoned: Detroit's Worst Apartment Building

This old 5 unit structure has been called Detroit's Worst Apartment Building – and the single most destroyed Detroit building - by one of the local construction companies, and they have seen plenty.

Once upon a time there were happy people, living and thriving in these apartments, which used to be glorious. Now, by the looks of it, it's difficult to believe that even homeless people would want to curl up and sleep here. It's that bad.

Looking the place over and hoping the building could be saved and refurbished the company realized it was beyond repair and will have to be demolished.

A broken basement window was used by locals to dump their garbage and the piles of trash and smelly debris prove that. What – you never heard of garbage service?

Bricks are falling off the walls, holes in the floors, and it's all so rotted that you can put your fist through just about any wall inside the place,

Over 100 years old, this building has been empty for approximately 20 years – but its sad appearance makes it look like it's been abandoned for a lot more.
