Just 25 years of birthdays, holidays, and sleepless nights, wondering what happened. That has been the daily reality for the family and friends of Derick Noble Brown, ever since he disappeared a quarter century ago in Lansing, Michigan.
Lansing Man Vanished in May 2001
Derick Brown was 22 years old when he disappeared on May 13, 2001. He was last seen around 9:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Midwood Street in Lansing. According to a report from CrimeSolversCentral.com, investigators say Derick left with an acquaintance and said he would return later that evening.

He never did. Brown was 6-foot-2, about 190 pounds, with light brown hair, hazel eyes, and several distinct tattoos, including his nickname "Deak" on his right shoulder, the name "Esham" on his right arm, and the word "sneaky" written on his stomach with pitchforks under it.
