Derick Brown was 22 years old when he disappeared on May 13, 2001. He was last seen around 9:30 p.m. near the 2900 block of Midwood Street in Lansing. According to a report from CrimeSolversCentral.com, investigators say Derick left with an acquaintance and said he would return later that evening.

He never did. Brown was 6-foot-2, about 190 pounds, with light brown hair, hazel eyes, and several distinct tattoos, including his nickname "Deak" on his right shoulder, the name "Esham" on his right arm, and the word "sneaky" written on his stomach with pitchforks under it.
