Crank up the Van Hagar this Wednesday, Motor City!

The Detroit Free Press reports that the Blue Angels, prominently featured in the band's 1986 video for "Dreams", along with their Air Force counterparts, the Thunderbirds, will be bringing their America Strong salute to the skies over Detroit, to pay tribute to health care workers, first responders, and essential employees.

The Blue Angels, technically called the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squad, have been teaming up with the Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squad, to perform sightly fly-overs for cities severely impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. This week, Metro Detroit is locked into their radar.

No time schedule or flight path has been released yet. Those details will be announced sometime Tuesday.
