Born and raised a loner in Lansing, I have spent the majority of my life developing my biggest obsession...music; specifically, Rock & Roll. As a youngster, 8-tracks and albums nearly over-populated my Hot Wheels. A fine pair of Stanton headphones helped to maximize my musical explorations. I grew up listening and loving the likes of Tom Petty, The Eagles, Bob Seger, The Rockets…speaking of Motor City Rock!! There were COUNTLESS others as well. While the other ‘80’s youth were listening to over-produced synth crap, I was discovering the ass-kicking likes of Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Def Leppard…though none of it ever outweighed my fascination for my two all-time faves…Queen and Billy Joel. I learned the term Disco Sucks at a young age…and I feel the same way about the pop/cookie-cutter rock/hip-hop garbage today’s kids have the misfortune of being exposed to. So, now that you’ve been brought behind the curtain of my soapboxes, I love rockin’ with my home town every afternoon. I’m a Lansing-lifer!! I’m also an avid Detroit Tigers fan and NASCAR junkie…14!! And, a pet lover, with my trust-worthy canine companion Maggie (A Capital Area Humane Society adoptee!!!) and more cats than one person should ever think of taking in!! Like most Gen-exers, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my PlayStation. If a great playlist and Miller Lite are thrown into the mix…even better!! I’m certainly not a stranger to the local social scene…so if you see me out and about stop me and say “Hi!.” I will gladly let you buy me a beer!!
