Is it really fall if you don't have homemade apple butter in your fridge? No matter your answer to that question, you need to check out the Apple Butter Festival, which happens every year. The Apple Butter Festival is taking place this Saturday at the Fenner Nature Center (2020 E. Mount Hope Avenue) from 11 AM to 5 PM.

This is a great fall festival to check out because it's about more than just the apple butter. You will be immersed in nature and be able to connect with your community through lots of hands on activities such as: trying heritage games, using a cross-cut saw, and even helping to stir the apple butter. Along with that, there will be local musicians and artists to help you get even more of a feel of fall.

You can learn more about the Apple Butter Festival here, plus you can also learn how apple butter is made and how it is different than apple sauce.
