Out in the woods in Grayling lies some kind of structure that has bars on the window.

The videographer says this building has been around since he was a kid, and abandoned as long as he can recall. All those years have passed, and the question to what this was remains. He guesses it may have been some kind of jail, but this would be a weird location for one if that is true.

No, I'm going to take a wild shot at it and say it very well could have been some kind of storage facility, with bars on the window to keep out trespassers. The thing is, there isn't any house closeby whose former owner may have built it. So with no other residences around, could it still have been used for storage, or was it indeed some kind of jail?

If it was a jail, it's far enough removed from anyone and if a fire broke out, any prisoner would be trapped. So is this gentleman accurate when he says he thinks it may have been a jail? In on the outskirts of a lake near Grayling (possibly Shellenbarger Lake?).
