Abandoned Chili’s Restaurant, Sterling Heights
This abandoned Chili's restaurant in Sterling Heights closed approximately in 2022. It's almost spotless, except for some minor debris and possible crumbs in the dining area.
A sign greets you at the door telling you basically, “hey, we're closed. But here are a couple of our other locations you can go to.” Looking inside, it appears to have avoided the vandalism and spray painting of trespassers and interlopers. It looks to be in really good shape despite being deserted for a few years.
But then there's the trash area behind the building. There are approximately 30 jammed-full garbage bags in the enclosed bin. Maintenance trash? Restaurant garbage? The bags seem to come from a professional service, not humans dumping their waste here. If professional cleaners put them here, why don't they just get 'em outta there?

Chili's began in 1975 as an eatery in a former post office in Dallas. Texas. The idea was for a full-serve restaurant with different types of hamburgers at a price everyone could afford. As it became more and more popular, locations expanded to different states, and the menu became more of a Tex-Mex offering.
