Sometimes construction people are sent to decrepit old buildings to see if they are salvagable – good enough to re-construct and make habitable again for people or a business.

Many of these abandoned, decaying structures are purchased by companies who believe they can make a profit by restoring and re-selling these dumps. Sometimes they can, but then again, sometimes those plans don’t work.

The building seen here in the image gallery below has been spray-painted with pretty graffiti...it also doesn’t sit too far from the Detroit skyline...and it’s surrounded by some very nice-looking homes on the same block...and right next door. By its appearance, the structure is believed to once have been an auto garage.

iNSIDE "THE BUILDING NO ONE WILL TOUCH"

But once inside, it becomes obvious to the onlooker and construction workers that this place can’t be saved. The best thing to do would be just to knock the whole thing down and re-build something on the property...a home or an apartment building. But this one is toast.

There have been fires inside, the rain falls through the roof, empty sardine cans left by squatters.....and the construction guys refuse to go down into the basement, as the stairs have dislodged themselves from the wall.

As the team says in their video description, it’s an “Abandoned Building Nobody Will Touch”.....and observing the images in the gallery below, you’ll see why.
