What are you doing this weekend?  I was just going to hang out, maybe get the tree up and decorated, but it's almost imperative that you do something around town this weekend.  There's so much packed into one weekend.  Friday is a "First Friday" with all kinds of specials and activities.  Friday night there are light parades in Grand Ledge and Williamson.  It's a green Friday and Saturday in East Lansing and aside from the Spartan game Saturday night, there's East Lansing's "Winter Glow" from 3-6pm.  In Old Town it;s the weekend for Dicken's village. If you're in the mood to shop. There's the "Holiday Art Market" at the Lansing Art Gallery and the Creole Gallery, the Nokomis Art Market and the 50th annual MSU Holiday Arts and Crafts show.  The Womens Center of Greater Lansing has a Boutique shop set up starting at 1pm.  The Lansing City Market is celebrating with: "Celebrate the Season" from 11-3p,

The Wonderland of Lights at Potter Park Zoo is in full swing.  There's Holiday in the Log Cabin at the Woldumar Nature Center and Christmas in the Village at the Meridian Historical Village

For theatre fans there is some great Holiday themed shows:  "White Christmas" at Riverwalk theatre and "Over the River and Through the Woods" at the Williamston Theatre
