VIDEO: Kelly Clarkson Live In Detroit From Thursday Night

Kelly Clarkson was live in Detroit this past Thursday at Little Caesars Arena. Her second stop in a week in the mitten state (she was in Grand Rapids at Van Andel last Thursday). We gave away tickets for both shows.

Now in case you missed her, we got you. Here's an intimate performance from Miss Kelly. And it's a cover. She kicked off her shoes and took on Brandi Carlile's "The Joke". And it's awesome.

Clarkson, who makes time during her live shows to offer up a unique spin on some of her favorite songs, pulled out the Carlile cover in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night (Feb. 21) during a stop on her Meaning of Life Tour. (Billboard)

Surprisingly, Clarkson came under fire after covering Carlile from a social media follower who claimed Clarkson is just now appreciating the singer because of her recent Grammy wins. Unfortunately for the troll, Clarkson responded in the best way possible. (Taste of Country)
