Tributes Pour in for Eddie Money as Rockers Cover His Hits

Rock stars react to the news of Eddie Money's death as Kid Rock, Bryan Adams and Loverboy all played his songs at weekend concerts,

Some artists struggle for a Top 40 hit song their entire career; Eddie Money scored not one but two from his very first album. "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise" put the money man on the rock and roll map in 1977, and he would notch 9 more songs in the top 40 ranks of the Billboard Hot 100.

His death at the age of 70 on September 13 saddened music fans and stars alike. On Twitter and on stage, rockers reacted to the loss of the former New York cop turned rock and roller. Most notably, Kid Rock was on stage at DTE Energy Music Theater near Detroit and honored Money at a place where he played nearly every Summer, opening the Michigan concert season. Bryan Adams stripped down "Baby Hold On" to just one guitar, playing it the very same day of Eddie's passing at a casino show in California. The very next night, with the aid of lyrics on a cellphone screen, Loverboy performed "Two Tickets to Paradise."
