The National Weather Service has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down Sunday afternoon in Barry County. The tornado touched down for about three minutes at just before 6:30pm yesterday near Dowling and Maple Grove Township. No injuries were reported. However, there were some structures that were damaged that suffered some damage. Officials with the National Weather Service say that winds were between 75 and 80 miles per hour with yesterday's tornado. Dowling is located about 45 miles away from the Lansing area.
