I like Fruit Loops cereal and I like doughnuts. So what could be better than? How about the Fruit Loops Doughnuts that are now available at Tim Hortons!

Just "follow your nose" to your nearest Tim Hortons to get the new fruity doughnut that is created using the cereal that Kellogg’s has been making since 1963.

Tim Hortons will be offering up their new creations in a couple of different ways...

First, it's the Froot Loops Dream Donut. This is a sweet donut featuring a strawberry icing base topped with colorful Froot Loops cereal and white icing drizzle.

They also have Froot Loops Timbits. These are a citrus cake donut hole with a glazed exterior, covered with colorful crushed Froot Loop pieces.

The Froot Loops Dream Donut will be available at a recommended price of $1.99 and the Froot Loops Timbits at a recommended price of $0.33 at participating U.S. restaurants for a limited time.

YouTube food reviewers -- The Trips -- recently reviewed the new Froot Loops Donuts and Timbits...

Tim Hortons was founded as a single location in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, back in 1964. The company is now one of North America’s largest restaurant chains operating in the quick-service segment. Tim Hortons has more than 4,800 restaurants in Canada, the U.S. and around the world.

And yes, Tim Horton is a real person. He was a Canadian professional hockey player who played 24 seasons in the NHL. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. In 2017, he was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. He died in a single-vehicle crash in 1974, at the age of 44. Prior to his death he was a successful businessman and the co-founder of the Tim Hortons fast-food restaurant chain.
