The Great American Clean Up is Happening

Most things have been cancelled this year but this volunteer and community improvement program is back on. According to WILX, this nationwide program was once cancelled is now back on due to some coronavirus restrictions being lifted.

The Great American Cleanup is the nations largest community improvement program and it is put on by "Keep America Beautiful". Anyone can volunteer for these events and there are a lot of them as the Great American Clean up offers service projects in more than 15,000 communities all around the country.

The Great American Cleanup was supposed to start a few weeks ago but now it will start in the next two weeks and run through mid-October. There will also be another change that has to do with COVID-19 because if you are volunteering you can ask to volunteer as an individual.
