Steak ‘N Shake Closing 57 Of Their Locations
Because it does need to be said, most of those big chain fast food restaurants, even non-fast food places, can be locally owned too. So, don't forget to go out and help support even that fast food restaurant you may not even be giving a second thought right now, because someone local could own it.
A fast food chain, Steak 'N Shake, will be closing over 57 of its restaurant locations. Of those locations, 51 are company-owned stores, and six are franchises.
The closures are due to the lack of revenue being brought in due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
None of the locations that are closing have been announced yet, according to WILX.
At the start of 2020, Steak 'N Shake had 553 locations. Fifteen of those stores are in Michigan, with two in the Lansing area and one in Jackson.
Some restaurants had been shut down back in March due to the pandemic, but some did still offer drive-thru services.
The first franchise of Steak 'N Shake debuted in 1939.
