Some Accumulating Snow Possible for the Lansing & Jackson Areas
Have you been enjoying the scattered snow showers over the last few days? If so, you'll be happy to know that some more snow is on the way. According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service, there's some snow in the forecast for tonight and early in the day on Friday. Now, they say that the Lansing area will see less than a half an inch of snow tonight and then Lansing will only see about an inch of snow on Friday. That means that we probably won't have to get the shovel out because there really won't be a lot of snow and the high temperature is expected to be near 40 on Friday afternoon so if you wait long enough, it's just gonna melt.
The National Weather Service says that the Jackson area and areas "near and south" of I-94 will see a little bit more snow as "one to three inches of snow accumulation is forecast near to south of I-94 on Friday." Some slippery road conditions will be possible, especially on Friday morning.
