The National Weather Service (NWS) has several stations around Michigan that measure humidity, barometric pressure, rain, and, of particular interest this time of year, snowfall. The 2024-25 winter may seem relatively mild for some Michiganders, but for others, the snowfall to date is well beyond what's typical for this time of year.

The totals varied across the state, with Flint only getting 1.4 inches and East Lansing getting blasted with 6 (for city-by-city snowfall totals for this system, click here).
