A new survey has found that more than 75% of respondents said they are feeling stressed these days. The biggest reason is because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It seems that most people surveyed are dealing with it in a healthy way, by exercising!

According to healthline.com, if you're feeling overwhelmed by a stressful situation, try taking a break and listening to relaxing music.

Playing calm music has a positive effect on the brain and body, and can lower blood pressure.

You know what I do when I start feeling stressed out? I play some of my favorite upbeat songs and start dancing by myself. For me, it really works and I have fun doing it.

There are several tips to help manage stressful situations. For example:

When you're feeling stressed, take a break to call a friend and talk about your problems. A reassuring voice can put everything in perspective.

Here's another helpful tip:

Talking calmly to yourself can be the next best thing. Just tell yourself why you're stressed out, what you have to do to complete the task at hand, and that everything will be okay.

Just laugh it off. Laughter releases endorphins that improve mood and decrease levels of stress causing hormones cortisol and adrenaline. Laughing tricks your nervous system into making you happy.

Find comedies that really make you laugh and watch them. Or you can bring up comedians on YouTube and have fun with that as well.
