Have you ever been to the Potter Park Zoo and wanted to get a better look at a certain animal? Cause there was a young boy that penned a letter to the zoo asking to pet one of the more scary animals at the zoo.

You can see the post from the Potter Park Zoo below but this all started after a young local boy, Wayne, wrote a letter about wanting to see and pet a rattlesnake. Wayne described his love for the rattlesnake and wrote that he wasn't scared about the animal. After seeing this letter Potter Park Zookeeper Missi let Wayne know a little more about the rattlesnake and the reasons why petting him isn't a great idea.

You can see the letter below and the Potter Park Zoo is still closed to the public but with the state starting to open businesses it looks like it may be opening soon. You can keep updated on them here
