Rite Aid has had a tough go of it as of late. In October the pharmacy announced it had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and as a result, they would be closing many of their stores.

While the struggling pharmacy continues to find ways to stay afloat, many Michigan residents are left trying to find new pharmacies. This sounds easy enough but, it's like starting a whole new relationship.

If you've become accustomed to getting your prescriptions from a certain location, you've no doubt gotten to know the folks behind the counter and, they you. Pharmacists get to know their customers and their needs. They also keep an eye out for dangerous medicine combinations that even doctors may miss. If you're store is closing, I get it.
