Hey...wait a minute...I think this has been done before...

After winning the College Football Championship game last night, police in Ohio made a handful of arrests and used tear gas to disperse some Ohio State students and football fans following the Buckeyes' win against Oregon.

According to the Washington Post, there were reports of 40 fires, most of them in dumpsters, and three reports of couches on fire. Officials do say that by around 3am, the crowds had pretty much left the area. You can check out the video of some of the celebration/tear gas here. Wonder where they got the couch burning idea.... ;)
