General Motors officials unveiled the new generation model 2018 Chevrolet Traverse during the North American International Auto Show on Monday morning.  It is designed for people who are always in motion.

The Traverse has been built at GM's Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant since 2010.  The second generation will be built on a new platform

GM's $583 million investment in the plant was tied to the redesign.  The plant also produces the Buick Enclave and the first generation GMC Acadia.

The 2018 Traverse will go on sale this fall with a starting price of $24,000, which is almost $5,000 cheaper than the 2017 base model.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
