The novel follows Detroit detective, Raymond Cruz, and his pursuit to take down a killer named Clement Mansell, otherwise known as the "Oklahoma Wildman." Variety says there's a potential the creators might bring back "Justified" character Raylan Givens played by Timothy Olyphant.

"Justified" was a crime drama that ran from 2010 to 2015 that revolved around Raylan Givens, a character who appeared in several of Elmore Leonards novels and his short story, "Fire in the Hole." If you don't remember, maybe the trailer will jog your memory.

It's still unclear whether or not Olyphant's character will return but there is a possibility. Several writers and producers will be joining the new series including, Graham Yost, creator and executive producer of "Justified." Elmore Leonard's son, Peter Leonard will also be an executive producer.

A year before his passing, Elmore Leonard wrote "Raylan." Olyphant told the Detroit Free Press that he encouraged Leonard to write more about his character.

I don’t know if he needed much of a nudge. He said, ‘You know, I might do that.’

There's no official release date for the new FX series, but we'll update you as soon as we know more!
