Go Green Go White, who's ready for the Michigan State Spartans to kick off their 2021 football season?  I would have to say we're all extremely excited to watch the Spartans play.  Not only on TV but at Spartan Stadium as well.

This last year was very difficult because of the coronavirus pandemic, but now that millions of Americans have been vaccinated, things are definitely looking up for all sports venues.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

The Spartans' opener at Northwestern was moved to a 9 p.m. start Sept. 3 at Ryan Field in Evanston, Illinois to begin Mel Tucker's second season.  The game will be televised on ESPN.

So the start of MSU's season will begin a day earlier.  Regardless, Spartan fans are looking forward to an exciting football season whether at home or elsewhere.

I can tell you this, Coach Tucker is a very hard-working coach and he wants everything to come together before MSU's football team hits the turf.  It's all about working on plays and getting the team ready for a winning season.

The Lansing State Journal adds:

It was one of six kickoff times announced Thursday.  MSU will return home to host Youngstown State on Sept. 11 (Big Ten Network), then travel to Miami (Fla.) on Sept. 18 (ABC or ESPN).  Both of those games start at noon.

You never know how the MSU football season will begin or how the Spartans will finish, but I can tell you they are due for a winning season very soon.  And perhaps the 2021 season will bring everything together for coach Mel Tucker and the team.
