If I'm being honest, I was surprised at the #1 entry, as I assumed it would be a cable company. Don't get me wrong; cable, internet, and phone companies dominate the list but not the top spot.
What frustrates me to no end about customer service phone lines is that you spend the first 5 minutes entering or saying all of your vital information, only to be placed on hold for several minutes and then greeted by a human being who then asks you all of the same questions you just answered.
Calling Customer Service Lines Suck the Joy Out of Life
If you find yourself in a position where you have no other option than to pick up the phone and duel with customer service, it takes the life out of you. You know you're going to spend the next hour or seven of your life talking progressively louder and slower so that the "automated assistant" can understand you.
