Jackson, Michigan will be left without a permanent, full service party good supplier. That is until Halloween USA comes along in September. Will the October ghoul take over the husk of Party City come fall? Time will tell.
Certainly all the big box stores have their party 'aisle', but it won't be the same. Where else can you get a bag of candy, a prosthetic witches nose, elf shoes, a clown wig, a bag of candy, a piñata, and a sexy cop outfit all in one place? Party City you will be missed, especially when your community needs immediate access to Transformers plates, My Little Pony streamers, a Happy Retirement banner and a "sorry to hear you're going out of business" greeting card.
