Michigan Crime A-Z Part II: Annual Crime Analysis C through D, Cadillac to Durand
With 'D' falling in this data set, it's no surprise that Detroit, Michigan, is the most violent city, with 13,040 violent crimes reported in the FBI's annual crime report. The number of crimes in any category committed in Detroit is startling. Still, considering the population density compared to the rest of the state helps to put things into perspective.
This analysis covers more than just major cities; it also drills down into township-level crimes. My hometown's numbers took me aback. I'm curious how yours fared. Here's an alphabetical glance at a Michigan year in crime: C through D or Cadillac through Durand.
