At first glance, it looks like it could be the well-decorated house of a fairy. However, upon closer inspection, you'll see that it's actually home to some free books.

It's part of the Little Free Library Non-Profit Organization.

Little Free Library is "the world's largest book-sharing movement", according to its website, and it helps to give access to books for those that might not be able to and to help engage with and build the community.

Need a Book? Take a Book. Have a Book? Share a Book.

The premise is very simple; if you need a book, take a book. If you have the ability to share a book, please do so. It's the same premise as take-a-penny, leave-a-penny.

There are books for all ages and reading levels, it all just depends on what gets donated to that location. The Little Free Library pictured below is on Downer Avenue between Grand River and Saginaw in Lansing. See what books they have right now in the picture below.
