On June 9, Yuengling announced its plans to expand into parts of the Mitten State by late summer, including the Lansing, Ann Arbor and Detroit areas. The company says it plans to make its product available statewide eventually, but will begin with a "limited launch".

Yuengling, which calls itself the "America's Oldest Brewery", encouraged its fans to keep an eye on the "Beer Finder" page of its website to learn when and where they'll be able to purchase Yuengling in Michigan.
