Guy Fieri-Approved Restaurant Crowned Best ‘Diner, Drive-In, Dive’ in Michigan

With nearly 50 seasons of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives under his belt, plus a ton of of other Food Network shows, celebrity chef Guy Fieri has certainly experienced the best restaurants in the U.S.

If you want to head to Flavortown here in Michigan, one eatery has been named supreme.

Lovefood.com sought to find the top must-try Triple D spot in each state based on the restaurants included in the Food Network show, as well as genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of their team.

The foodie publications pick for the best Guy Fieri-approved restaurant in Michigan is The Fly Trap in Ferndale.

Billing itself as "a finer diner" the restaurant first opened in 2004 at 22940 Woodward Ave.

At The Fly Trap you'll find a TON of egg dishes like omelets, huevos rancheros, skillets, hash, crab cakes and eggs, and more.

Also enjoy waffles, salads, sandwiches, and specialties like Vietnamese Pho Bowls, fried rice, and mac and cheese. Fly Trap has a full bar too!

The Fly Trap was featured on season two of Diner's Drive-In's and Dives on an episode called "Off the Hook Specials", which aired in January 2008.
